UVEX iSeries Vision Screening Instruments
Workplace accident prevention involves ensuring all workers have clear vision to perform their task safely. Having a vision screener on your premises allows for a convenient evaluation of your employee’s basic visual functions. This lightweight, portable instrument enables you to assess and screen your employee’s basic visual needs and is most suitable for drivers, fork lift operators, skilled trades and quality assurance inspectors. Please note that a vision screener does not replace a regular eye exam from an optometrist.
Evaluates employee vision as it relates to the job function by testing:
- Visual acuity (far and near)
- Binocularity and muscle imbalance
- Depth and colour perception
- Peripheral and nasal field of vision
