No. All safety eyewear must be approved and compliant with the CSA Standard Z94.3-07.
Frames and lenses must pass rigorous testing before they are approved.

No. After market clip-on side shield protection is not compliant with CSA guidelines.
Effective Dec. 1st, 2007 approved safety frames must now have permanent side shield protection.

No. Approved safety lens materials are CR39 plastic, polycarbonate and trivex.
Glass lenses do not meet CSA lens impact requirements and are therefore not compliant.
